From overseeing our local elections to maintaining public records, our City Clerk has the answers you seek.

First floor of Dublin City Hall at 100 S. Church Street. From the front entrance, enter the main lobby, go past the reception desk and turn to your left. The city clerk's office is on the left.

The Facts 
According to the City of Dublin’s charter, the City Clerk shall be responsible for keeping minutes of the proceedings of the Mayor and Council, shall be the custodian of all records and documents pertaining to actions of the mayor and council, and shall exercise those powers and perform those duties required by law and by the Mayor and Council. The City Clerk shall attest all formal contracts executed on behalf of the city. The City Clerk serves as Municipal Election Superintendent.

Council Agendas, Minutes, & Meetings
As City Clerk, Heather prepares the agenda under the direction of the City Manager, reports all adjustments to city council's regular meeting schedule, records all actions during each city council meeting, and distributes all notices.

Election & Voter Registration Schedule

August 16-20, 2021 - Qualifying from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in the City Clerk's office

October 4, 2021 - Last Day for a person to register and be eligible to vote in the November General Election and Runoff Election. O.C.G.A. § 21-2-224(a)

October 11, 2021 - Columbus Day Holiday (State is closed)

October 12, 2021 - Advanced (Absentee In-Person) Voting begins for the November General Election. O.C.G.A. § 21-2- 385(d)(1) Vote at Laurens County Registrar’s Office from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

October 16, 2021 Mandatory Saturday Voting for the November Municipal General/Special Election O.C.G.A. § 21-2- 385(d) Laurens County Registrar’s Office  from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

October 22, 2021 Last day to submit absentee ballot application for the November General Election O.C.G.A. 21-2- 381(a)(1)(A) Laurens County Registrar’s Office from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

October 23, 2021 Mandatory Saturday Voting for the November Municipal General/Special Election O.C.G.A. § 21-2- 385(d) Laurens County Registrar’s Office  from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

November 2, 2021 Election Day at Stubbs Park Gym from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
