ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Application fee of $150.00
2. Provide a copy of the completed State application and personnel statements for retail or consumption on premises license. The state application is completed online through the Department of Revenue at www.gtc.dor.ga.gov -- you must sign up and complete state procedures. However, the City of Dublin requires a paper copy of the application to be on file.
3. Post a beverage cash bond, using the form provided by the city for $2000.00. Must be remitted by cash and/or cashier’s check (company check accepted) made payable to the City of Dublin. This is for retail packages to go or consumption on the premises of spirituous liquor sales.
**Please that remittance must be a separate check from the remaining alcohol fees.
4. A current passport photo of the applicant/local agent.
5. Fingerprints of local agent, owner(s) and/or officers. Please sign up & register at Georgia Enrollment & Fingerprinting Services. Click HERE for step-by-step support. Once registered and the paperwork is completed, contact our tax department to request approval.
6. Clearance letters from the City of Dublin, GA showing no criminal charges pending and/or no convictions in the past 2 years of the local agent, owner(s), and/or officers.
7. An affidavit from the City Engineer stating that the establishment complies with the distance requirements. ($150.00 fee). **Please note** Will need a legal description of the property and a copy of the plat.
8. For consumption on premises. All new locations or if the location has not been utilized for over a year are required to have proof of zoning compliance issued by the City of Dublin’s Planning & Zoning Board. The meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of each month and requires a twenty-two (22) day advertisement before the meeting. ($300.00 fee). **Please note** Will need, if leasing, a copy of the lease.
10. A legal advertisement to be run in the Courier Herald once a week for two consecutive weeks and furnish an affidavit that said ad did run. Must correspond with City Marshal on the date’s advertisement should run. Should not run advertisement until distance requirements are confirmed in compliance.

11. Return the application to the City Marshal for processing. Approval must be obtained from the Building Inspection Director, Fire Chief, and Police Chief before the certificate/license is issued. Should you have any questions, please contact Tammy Hayes,
City Marshal at (478) 277-5016. – Payment is due upon initiation of application. The applicant will be notified of approval or disapproval of the application.
Copy of local and state alcohol application attached. Our ordinance requires a copy of the state's application and since state application is now processed online through the state's portal site and it's not printable, we ask this be completed, (state paperwork) for our records but you can also use this and transpose to the state site.
If a company is a corporation, as the applicant, we require the president and secretary as well as a local agent who's a resident of Laurens County to complete personnel statements, fingerprints, and clearance letters and the local agent would need a current passport photo.
If a limited liability company, (LLC), whoever is listed on the LLC would need to complete a personnel statement, fingerprints, and clearance letters as well as a local agent.
You will omit item number 3 on the application instruction if this is for a convenience store only having beer and wine sales.
Peddler Application
There are several options for peddler's permits depending on how many employees they have and the duration the business will be operating. The peddler's application must be filled out with a background check form and turned in to the Dublin Police Department. All forms will need to be returned to City Hall.
The price for it is:
$50.00 per person per day
$100.00 per person per week
$250.00 per person per month
The city doesn’t allow peddlers to operate month to month.
Mobile Food Truck License
Complete the Occupational License steps and the Mobile Food Truck forms, including the tag numbers, insurance, and registration.
We will need a copy of your property use agreement and photos of the truck.
Be prepared to pay the Occupational License and Mobile Unit fee ($200.00 per truck).
