On July 17, 2025, the City of Dublin held a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for it's Northside Fire Station. The event featured Liz Green, who sang the National Anthem, with a formal Presentation of Colors from the Dublin Fire Department Honor Guard. Mayor Kight extended a warm welcome to all attendees, expressing gratitude to everyone whose dedication and hard work contributed to the success of this vital community initiative. Pastor Greg Soles provided the invocation, and Chief Cutler concluded the ceremony by reflecting on the fire department’s distinguished history, its unwavering commitment in the present, and its bright future in serving our community. We were pleased to welcome Reggie Cofer, Regional Outreach Coordinator for the Office of U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff, and Maria Cook, Southeast Outreach Representative for the Office of U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, who joined us for this significant occasion.
