A groundbreaking renewable natural gas (RNG) initiative in Eatonton, Georgia, that delivers gas to an industry in Dublin has earned top honors from the American Public Gas Association (APGA). The project—developed through a partnership between Eatonton, Dublin, the Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia, SustainRNG, and local dairy farms—transforms agricultural waste into clean, renewable energy.

The effort recently won first place in APGA’s Marketing and Communications Awards for the Cities of Eatonton and Dublin for an engaging video that demonstrates how the project promotes sustainability, innovation, and local economic growth. This achievement underscores Georgia’s leadership in advancing renewable energy solutions within the natural gas industry.
