Celebrating 28 Years of International Friendship

A partnership built on cultural exchange, friendship, and mutual respect.
Over the years, this relationship has created lifelong connections, including more than 140 student exchanges and numerous visits by city and business leaders. YKK AP has played an important role in supporting and strengthening these exchanges through its presence in both communities.
We welcomed and fellowshipped with this year's Japanese guests from Wednesday, March 25, 2026, through Sunday, March 29, 2026. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the businesses, churches, host families, YKK, city and county school systems, city employees, Mayor, and City Council who continue to invest in this “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” for our community. From the Police and Fire Departments to educators and volunteers, this was truly a citywide effort to make our Japanese guests feel welcome.
A special thank you to Mr. Jin Ito, Chairman of the Osaki Sanbongi International Association, whose 9th visit to Dublin reflects his deep commitment to our Sister City partnership.
We are grateful for this enduring relationship and proud to show the world what a wonderful place Dublin is to live.
