The City of Dublin has a Mayor & Council/City Manager form of government.
The Mayor and Council is the governing body elected by the citizens. They set policy, pass resolutions and ordinances, and govern the City through their appointees, the City Manager and Clerk and Attorney. The City Manager is appointed by them to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the City government. The City Manager oversees all city staff.
As City Manager, I advise the Mayor and Council on their decisions but do not vote on laws. I am ultimately responsible for carrying out the Council's wishes. I supervise day-to-day City operations through my department heads. If you have any questions or needs, please call my office. I have worked for the City for many years, beginning as the Municipal Court prosecutor then as the City Attorney full time since 2005. I was appointed City Manager in 2015, after serving as interim manager due to the retirement of Mr. George Roussel.
