Jerry Davis - At Large
Jerry Davis was elected to the Dublin City Council during the 2009 general election. He serves in an at-large position. He was born and raised in Dublin/Laurens County, Georgia. He is a graduate of Fort Valley State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. He started his working career in management with K-Mart Corporation in Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia. He retired from UnumProvident (now UNUM) in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a Disability Underwriter Trainer. He is currently a business owner in Dublin. He is a member of the First A.B. Church and is a video technician. He is married to Delois Davis and has two daughters, a granddaughter and grandson. His vision for Dublin is to work with the City of Dublin, Dublin/Laurens Chamber of Commerce and the Development Authority to provide jobs, public transportation, develop river walk and a new shopping mall. His goal is to make Dublin a better place to live for all of its citizens.
