HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR


The City of Dublin is seeking candidates for the position of
Human Resources Director. 


The Director of Human Resources plans and directs the City Human Resources management programs including recruitment, personnel policy administration, risk management, organizational development and training, talent management, workers’ compensation, employee relations, compensation management, employee benefits, and wellness programs.  The Director of Human Resources will develop a human resources strategic plan, policies & procedures, and practices and programs. 

Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, or related field, with at least 5-7 years of progressively responsible administrative HR experience.  
Human Resources certification strongly preferred.

FIREFIGHTER

The City of Dublin is accepting applications for team members with
positive attitudes and initiative for the position of Firefighter.

Applicants must possess a valid Georgia driver’s license
and a high school diploma or its equivalent.

All applicants will be required to pass a drug test, physical examination
and an entry level firefighter’s test.

This is a shift position requiring Firefighters to work
24-hour shifts every third day.


Starting salary: $34,740.81 annually

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

The City of Dublin is accepting applications for team members with positive attitudes and initiative as an Equipment Operator in the Sanitation Department.

Applicants should have experience in operating a rear-end packer trucker, front-end loaders and other heavy motor equipment.   

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and
possess a valid Georgia Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

Starting salary:
$15.40 per hour

POLICE OFFICER

The City of Dublin is accepting applications for a team member with a
positive attitude and initiative for the position of Certified Police Officer. 

This person will perform law, traffic and criminal investigations work.

Applicants must be 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
and have a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Successful applicant must pass a drug screen, Polygraph exam,
physical agility test and psychological exam.

The following information is requested of all Police Officer applicants. Your application cannot be processed until these documents are submitted.

  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Discharge from Armed Services: Form DD-214 or Certificate of Draft Status
  • Copy of High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Copy of valid Georgia Driver’s License



Starting salary:
$18.26 hour - POST Certified
$17.35 hour - Uncertified
