FIRE CHIEF

 

The City of Dublin, located in Laurens County, is seeking candidates for the position of Fire Chief.  The City, with an estimated population of 17,000 is located in Middle Georgia.  There are a total of 35 employees in the Fire Department and the Fire Chief reports directly to the City Manager.  This person will lead, plan, organize, and execute daily operations, assuring all fire suppression services are available to the residents ofDublin.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science, Business, Public Administration or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.  The successful candidate must have 10 years of experience in fire service, five of which should be in command, management or supervisory level.
