The City of Dublin has an opening for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This individual will perform routine chemical tests and operate the various pumps and equipment necessary to process raw sewage. Shift work is required. Some work experience as a laboratory or mechanical helper is beneficial. Strong math background is necessary. Starting salary is $9.97per hour for a trainee or $11.68 per hour for a Class III Operator. An extensive fringe benefit package including health, dental and life insurance is also offered. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have a high school diploma or GED. The successful applicant must pass a drug screen.
